When the disc changer with the O-N selection switch is
connected, set the switch to "O" position to operate the disc
changer mode.
Playing other Disc mode
This function permits the connection of optional players and
the playing of discs other than the loaded CD (in the current
unit).
Playing Discs:
Press the SRC button repeatedly to select the disc control
mode.
The dise will start playing.
The disc control mode will differ, depending on the unit that is
connected.
Mode Display Examples
*"DISC-CH"...when a disc changer is connected
*"DISC-CH1", "DISC-CH2"...when two disc changers are
connected
Pausing and Restarting Disc Play:
Press the II button to make the disc pause.
Press the same button again to start play again.
When one disc has finished playing its last track, the next disc in
the changer will start playing. When the last disc in the changer
has finished, the player will return to the first disc and start
playing it.
Switching Display Mode for Discs
Switch the display mode that appears while discs are playing.
Switching Display Mode for Discs:
Each time you press the DISP button, the display mode during
disc play switches as follows:
. Time display mode
Disc name display mode
Disc title display mode (MD only}
Track title display mode (MD only)
* The time display mode will differ, depending on the setting of
the Switching Time Display function described below.
* You can give names to discs through the presetting disc name
function (see p. 22).
- If you try to display the name of a disc that doesn't have one,
"No Name" is displayed instead.
¢ When there is an attempt to display the title of an MD for which
the disc title/track title has not been recorded, "No Title" is
displayed instead.
Switching Time Display
Switch the time display that appears while the time display
mode is selected.
Switching Time Display:
Each time you press the TIME button, the display during time
display mode switches as follows:
Track time (P-TIME)

Total disc playing time (A-TIME : CD only)
¥
Disc remaining time (R-TIME : CD only)
¢ This function can be operated during the time display mode.
* Only track time ts available during MD play.
