Disc changer control features
Function of the KRC-259R,21R
When the disc changer w ith the O-N selection sw itch is con-
nected, set the sw itch to "O " position to operate the disc
changer mode.
Playing D iscs U sing D isc Changer
Playing Discs:
Press the SRC button repeatedly until disc changer mode is
obtained.
"DISC" is displayed w hen the unit is in the disc changer mode.
The disc indicator lights up during disc changer mode.
When one disc has finished playing its last track, the next disc
in the changer starts playing. When the last disc in the changer
has finished, the player returns to the first disc and starts play-
ing it.
Disc #10 is displayed as "0".
Sw it ching D isplay f or D iscs
Sw itch the display that appears w hilst discs are playing.
Sw itching Display for Discs:
Each time you press the DISP button, the display during disc
play sw itches as follow s.
Track time/track no.
Disc name
Disc title (M D only)
Track title (M D only)
N OTE
• You can give names to discs through the presetting disc name
function (see p. 20).
• If you try to display the name of a disc that does not have one,
"NO NAM E" is displayed instead.

Fast Forw arding and Reversing D isc Play
Fast Forw arding Disc Play:
Reversing Disc Play:
You cannot use reverse play betw een tracks w hen listening to an
M D on the M D changer. Instead, the reverse play function is can-
celled w hen it reaches the beginning of a track, at w hich point
normal play automatically resumes.
Track Search
Search forw ards or backw ards through the tracks on the disc
until you reach the one that you w ant to listen to.
M aking a Reverse Track Search:
Pressing the 4 button w hilst listening to track 1 only searches
back to the beginning of that track. The reverse search is not
"recycled" to the last track on the disc.
M aking a Forw ard Track Search:
You cannot make a forw ard track search w hen listening to the
last track on a disc.

Hold dow n on the ¢ button.
Release your finger to play the disc at that point.
Hold dow n on the 4 button.
Release your finger to play the disc at the point.
N OTE
Press the 4 button to display the desired track number.
Press once to search back to the beginning of the current
track, tw ice to search back to the beginning of the previous
track, and so forth.
Play starts at the beginning of the displayed track number.
N OTE
Press the ¢ button to display the desired track number.
Press once to fast forw ard to the next track, tw ice to fast for-
w ard to the track after that, and so forth.
Play starts at the beginning of the displayed track number.
