The tracks have a built-in braking system that is automatically applied when the joysticks are returned to their resting positions. Be careful not to release the joysticks too quickly as the brakes could destabilise the machine, especially on steep terrain Hansa C60 RX O&M Manual – OM-015 Revision E 23/10/2019 © Hansa Chippers 2019...

Expose the tracks to fuels or synthetic oils. If this does happen then they must immediately be cleaned Drive the chipper on steep routes. It is recommended that the C60RX should not be driven on slopes steeper than 15 degrees. The engine is not designed to operate at angles greater than 20 degrees for extended periods of time. Operators should take their time to become comfortable driving on steep terrain and learn what the machine is capable of.
