IMPORTANT:
Regardless of the power-on state, voltage is always present on the system board as long
as the system is plugged into an active AC outlet. You must disconnect the power cord and wait
approximately 30 seconds for the power to drain to avoid damage to the internal components of the
computer.

The M.2 SSD is located underneath the fan between the monitor head mount and hard drive bay. Pull the
fan straight up and off the posts on the system board to remove it. You do not need to disconnect the
fan cables.

To remove an M.2 SSD, remove the screw that secures the SSD to the system board (1), and then slide
the SSD out of the system board connector (2).
