Flame failure monitor

The cooktop is equipped with a flame
failure monitor. If a gas flame is
extinguished, e.g. by food boiling over
or by a draught, and re-ignition does
not work, the gas supply is switched
off. This prevents the release of gas. If
you turn the control to the  position,
the burner is ready for use again.

Safety switch-off

If a burner operates for an unusually
long time, it switches itself off
automatically. If you turn the control
knob to the  position, the burner is
ready for use again.
