If programmed for passive arming, a feature called Smart
Relocking will occur when the system is disarmed without
opening a door, so that the doors will automatically lock
when the system passively rearms.

Arming/disarming confirmation siren chirps

Auto-Lock/Auto-Unlock
doors will lock three seconds after the ignition is turned on,
and unlock when the ignition is turned off. The system will
prevent the doors from locking when the ignition is turned on
with any door open. If your installer is programming the secu-
rity system with the Directed
and the TechSoft Programmer, ignition lock and unlock are
independent features and can be programmed separately.

Passive door locking (with passive arming) or

locking allows the vehicle's doors to lock when the security
system passively arms (after the 30 second countdown). This
feature only works if passive arming has been programmed.

passively arm after one hour, even if a protected entry has

that the security system will be armed in every situation.
