1. Preparing the laundry

Damage due to foreign objects.
Nails, coins, paper clips, and so on
can cause damage to textiles and
components in the machine.
Check the mops or the laundry be-
fore washing and remove any foreign
objects.
Damage due to solvent-based
detergents.
Cleaning agents containing benzine,
stain remover, etc., can damage
plastic parts.
When pre-treating textiles, make sure
that plastic parts do not come into
contact with the detergent.
Risk of explosion due to solvent-
based detergents.
When using solvent-based deter-
gents, an explosive mixture may de-
velop.
Never use solvent-based detergents
in the washing machine.

Sorting mops, cleaning cloths,
etc.
 Separate the mops, cleaning cloths
and pads.
 Shake mops, cleaning cloths and
pads out well to get rid of coarse soil-
ing before placing them in the drum.
Sorting the laundry
 Empty all pockets.
 Badly soiled areas and stains should
be cleaned as soon as possible.
Stains should be carefully dabbed off
using a soft, colourfast cloth.
 Sort the laundry according to colour
and the garment care label.
Tip: Do not wash items which are spe-
cified by the manufacturer as not wash-
able on the care label ( symbol).
