Shooting Modes

In
mode, the camcorder offers a number of shooting modes that give you varying degrees of
control over the camcorder's settings. Select the shooting mode most appropriate to your needs or
creative vision and adjust manually those settings you wish to control, letting the camcorder take care
of the rest.
Operating modes:
1 Select the shooting mode button.
2 Select the desired shooting mode and then
select [X].
• The shooting mode button will show the selected
mode's icon.
Available shooting modes
For details on shooting modes other than Special Scene modes, refer to Exposure Adjustment
(A 40).

Special Scene modes
The camcorder automatically sets the shutter speed, aperture and gain.
You manually set the shutter speed while the camcorder automatically adjusts
the aperture and gain.
You manually set the aperture and ND filter while the camcorder automatically
adjusts the shutter speed and gain.
You manually set the shutter speed, aperture and gain, giving you full control
over the exposure.
These modes offer preset combinations of settings optimized for specific
situations.
