Connecting a PEC Type Base Station

To connect a PEC (copper) type base station to a power system and the network, do the following:
Connect the supplied Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) cable between the DC/ETH port on the base station and the

Tighten the base station end of the PoE cable to 4 N·m (35.4 lbf-in).

Connect a copper Ethernet cable between the 10/100Base-T copper Ethernet port on the power system and
a10/100Base-T copper Ethernet port on a switch or router.

Connecting an SFA Type Base Station

To connect an SFA (optical) type base station to a power source and the network, do the following:

Connect the supplied Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) cable between the DC/ETH port on the base station and the
