Overview

Thank you for the purchase of the D-Link DSB-C300. This high
performance webcam is imbedded with state of the art video
compression technology and transmits through the USB interface.
You will never be too late to enjoy the high resolution sensor providing
the sharpest image quality allowing a pleasurable experience with the
video applications in your PC along with the DSB-C300. Following is a
brief installation guide for first time users who are running the DSB-
C300 in the Windows environment.

Minimum System Requirements

§ Pentium 133 or above CPU, Pentium II 350 recommended
§ 32 MB of system RAM
§ One USB port
§ Microsoft Windows 98 or above
§ 20MB hard disk space

Hardware Installation

Plug in the USB cable of the DSB-C300 into the USB port in the PC or
any USB hub attached to the PC.
Note
: The Add New Hardware Wizard will start automatically once
the camera has been plugged in.
The LED indicator of the camera will be active after the USB host
controller initiated the USB device properly.

Driver Installation

This section includes a generic driver installation procedure that can
be used for most Windows USB enabled operating systems. These
instructions are not specific to all versions of Microsoft Windows.
Once the camera has been installed, Windows will detect the camera
and prompt "Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box on the screen.
