The back wall, top and side walls in the oven clean
themselves. They are coated with a highly porous
ceramic layer. This coating absorbs and dispels
splashes from baking and roasting while the oven is in
operation. You will obtain a better result, the higher
the temperature and the longer the oven is in
operation.
Light discolouration of the coating does not affect
automatic self cleaning.
If the self cleaning surfaces of the oven are no longer
cleaning themselves sufficiently, they can be
regenerated using the cleaning function.
Never use abrasive detergent. You will scratch or
destroy the highly porous coating.
Never clean the back wall, top and side walls with
oven cleaner.
If oven cleaner accidentally gets onto the back wall or
side walls, remove it immediately with a sponge and
plenty of water.
For ease of cleaning, you can switch on the oven light
and detach the oven door.
Set the function selector to t.
