INTRODUCTION
Thank you for your choice of the SKYRC e8, 100-240V AC balance charger. This unit is simple to use but
its operation does require some knowledge on the part of the user. Please read this entire operating
manual completely and attentively before using this product, as it covers a wide range of information on
operating and safety.
SKYRC e8 Charger is an economic, high quality 100-240V AC balance charger, designed for charging
LiPo and LiFe batteries from 2-8 cells in balance mode. The circuit power is 100W and max charge
current can reach to 6A. There are four different charge current 1A/3A/5A/6A which can be selected. You
could select the proper charge current according to battery capacity.

CHARGE PROCEDURES
SKYRC e8 comes with the built in power supply. You can connect the AC power cord to the AC socket
(100-240V AC) directly.
Note: This charger can charge LiPo and LiFe batteries ONLY in balance mode. In this case, you must use
balance board to connect the charger with the battery.
Please refer to following steps to charge the battery,
1) Insert the AC power cord into the charger.
2) Insert the AC cord into a wall socket (100-240V). All LEDS will light for 1 second and the charge status LED will flash
green which indicates the charger is ready to charge.
3) Select the battery type LiPo/LiFe by the slide switch.
Select the proper charging current 1A/3A/5A/6A by the slide switch.

5) Connect the battery to the charger main battery lead to battery socket and balance wires to balance socket.
6) The charger starts charging. The charge status LED and the cell status LED will glow constant red. If the battery
pack is 2-cell, Cell 1 and Cell 2 LEDs will glow constant red; if the battery pack is 3-cell, Cell 1, Cell 2 and Cell 3
LEDs will glow constant red; and so on.
7) During the charging progress, when the charge status LED glows constant red, the charger is charging in CC mode;

when the charge status LED glows constant orange,
the charger is charging in CV mode;
8) When the cell LED is flashing, this cell is discharging
for balancing.
9) When the battery is fully charged, the charge status
LED will glow constant green.
10) Unplug the battery from the charger and the charge
status LED will flash green which indicates the
charger is ready to charge another battery.
CAUTION:
This diagram shows the correct way to connect your battery to
the e8 charger while charging in balance mode.
Failure to connect as shown in this diagram will damage this
charger.
The main battery leads must be connected along with the
balance lead connector as shown before charging your battery.
