    General The purpose of this modification is to enhance the IQ AMB-5 Mixer with updated circuitry and firmware to eliminate possible program memory loss due to an AC power brownout. At the operator level there are no changes in mixer operation associated with this firmware upgrade.
  • Page 3 5. Remove battery B1 by cutting the retaining strap (if present) and the two leads. Trim leads near to the circuit board. 6. Remove the retro module from the static bag. Use static precautions when handling the module. 7. Install the retro module in the U96 socket; make sure the module is orientated so pin 1 of the 40-pin IC matches pin 1 of the socket.
