    ® ® 1 Introduction This manual contains information for users of the Niky 600/800 models. You are advised to read this handbook carefully before installing your uninterruptible power supply, meticulously following the instructions given herein. The UPS NIKY is only been made for civil or industrial use; it is not in conformity with the standards for electro-medical equipment.

    Niky 600/800 3 Installation • Take your UPS out of its packing. • Make sure the mains supply voltage is identical to the one indicated in the label placed on the rear of the UPS. • Switch on your UPS with the ON/OFF button and check it operates correctly with the mains (green LED on).
  • Page 4 ® 5 Overload and self-shutdown Your UPS is equipped with a system to measure the power delivered at the outlet; when this exceeds the set thresholds, the protection and relative signals are activated; shutdown is automatic with a delay in relation to the size of the overload. Under the line mode the green led will be light.
