Before unpacking the box and included components, we recommend reading this user manual thoroughly to ensure that you are completely familiar with all of the functions this product has to offer. When unpacking the box, please make sure that all of the components and accessories listed below have been included.

The Devine WMD-168 MKII system operates using the 612 – 672 MHz frequency band, and therefore, may not be used freely all over the world! As such, it is essential that you are always aware of any local regulations and rules regarding the use of wireless transmitting and receiving systems.
  • Page 7 In countries that have not been included above, further specific regulations may apply: DE: Germany NL: The Netherlands In these countries, the use of frequencies 614.20 MHz to 671.95 MHz is permitted, licence free. However, the use of frequencies 612.20 MHz to 613.95 MHz is not permitted. MT: Malta In this country, no licence is required to use frequencies 614.20 MHz to 631.95 MHz, 654.20 MHz to 662.95 MHz, and 670.20 MHz to 671.95 MHz.
  • Page 8 8 to 20 hours depending on battery quality. The batteries included with this system are intended for testing the microphones only. After testing, Devine recommends replacing the included batteries with batteries made by brands such as Duracell before using the microphones for any performances.
  • Page 9 The volume for each microphone can be conveniently adjusted via the front panel of the receiver. Devine recommend that, wherever possible, the XLR outputs of the receiver are used, since this ensures superior signal transfer and a minimum chance of error or signal distortion. An unbalanced 6.35 mm jack cable has been included.
  • Page 10 Synchronising the Microphones and Selecting the Correct Frequency The microphones are usually set to a specific frequency, as is the receiver and to ensure that they function correctly with one another, they must be set to the same frequency. On the receiver, a specific channel and corresponding frequency can be set. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to select the frequency and channel.
  • Page 11 Volume Control On the front of the receiver, two volume control knobs have been fitted. These are used to adjust the microphone levels. If the sound is distorting while the volume controls have been set to an optimum level, request that the microphone technique of the performer is altered for a cleaner result.
