2. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

a) Installation
This unit is designed for heating domestic hot water to a temperature below boiling point at atmospheric
pressure and must be connected to a heating system and a domestic hot water system, compatibly with its
performance characteristics and power.
The place of installation must be protected against frost.
The storage exchanger must be placed in the immediate vicinity of the heat generator. This will prevent pointless
heat loss. If this is not possible, suitably insulate the feed pipes.
Its positioning must enable installation of pipes for domestic hot water and those for the heating water.
4 adjustable feet for screwing in the special threaded seats on the bottom of the unit are provided.
b) Water connection (see diagram in fig.2)
The position of the unions and their functions are indicated in Fig. 1 and on the label on the back of the unit.
It is advisable to install the unit near the main hot water drawing point, in order to avoid heat loss along the
pipes, and possibly near a drain to facilitate any emptying operations.
