ELECTRICAL GUIDELINES FOR USING EXTENSION CORDS USE THE PROPER EXTENSION CORD. Make sure your extension cord is in good condition. When using an extension cord, be sure to use one of heavy enough gauge to carry the current your product will draw. An undersized cord will cause overheating. The table below shows the correct size to use depending on cord length and nameplate ampere rating. -

OPERATION INSTRUCTION STARTING/STOPPING THE BLOWER (See Figure 5.) Before start-up, make sure that the blower is in perfect condition to guarantee safe operation. • Squeeze the trigger to start. • This blower has a variable speed trigger, which allows you to increase or decrease speed based on how much you pull the trigger. - Page 14 OPERATION INSTRUCTION OPERATING THE BLOWER (See Figure 6.) Hold the blower firmly. Sweep from side to side with the nozzle several inches above the ground. Slowly advance the unit, keeping the accumulated pile of debris in front of you. Most dry blowing operations are better suited at low speeds, rather than high speeds.

MAINTENANCE W A R N I N G To avoid serious personal injury, always turn the unit off and unplug it before cleaning or servicing. Use a small brush to clean off the outside of the unit. Do not use strong detergents, household cleaners that contain aromatic oils such as pine and lemon, and solvents such as kerosene, because they can damage plastic housings or handles. -
