GENERAL INFORMATION
The GB4000 lamp fi ture is a difused balloon light that is
designedtobemountedandoperatedonmost conventional
mobile light tower masts. Its design and features permit
clean, difusedlight tobecast uniformly over 232feet (70.7
meters).
The shadow-less lighting dramatically reduces glare in
the work area. This type of lighting improves safety and
enhances the illuminated area. The GB4000 is ideal for
highwaywork, constructionjobsites, securitysupport, and
special events.
The balloon light assembly is supported by four 1000-watt
metal halidelamps, self-inflatingdurablepolyester balloon
bag, protective lamp guard, quick disconnect communal
mast bracket, and self-contained electrical junction box.
Onceattachedtothemast, theGB4000utilizes theballast
assembly, electrical conduits, and receptacle connections
of conventional mobile light towers to permit operation.
The GB4000 requires 2000 watts of power and the host
light tower electrical ballast systemfor operation.T otal lamp
operation will be limited to the design and capacity of the
host light tower.
The unit easily disconnects fromthe light tower mast and
can be easily stored in its protective canvas cover case.
