Important safety considerations
When "STOP" is operated or a motor protector is active, the first step flag (M0.0 in our
example) need only be set for all drives to come to a stop. At the same time, all other step
flags must be reset.
The program section shown in the example must be at the end of the "normal" transition
conditions of the sequencer. This ensures that any necessary shutdown can take place prior
to activating the outputs.

M0.0 is set, M0.1 to M0.5 are reset
by any of the following conditions:
• In the first cycle by SM0.1, after
PLC power is restored
• If I0.0="0"
• If I0.5="0"
