FAILURE MODE

Possible Causes
• TH1 is open/short or 26, 27
port of Micom(U21) is
open/short.
• TH2 is open/short or 35, 56
port of Micom(U21) is
open/short.
• TH3 is open/short or 34, 56
port of Micom(U21) is
open/short.
• Food spill/soil on touchpads.
• Object placed on touchpad.
• Touch time is long.
• There is a fault with Display.
• Low voltage detection
Solutions
• Turn the cooktop off using the Power ON/OFF.
Turn cooktop back on using the Power ON/OFF.
• Check the electric resistance TH1
(77˚F/25˚C)
• Change the main pcb
assembly.
• Turn the cooktop off using the Power ON/OFF.
Turn cooktop back on using the Power ON/OFF.
• Check the electric resistance TH2
(77˚F/25˚C)
• Change the main pcb
assembly.
• Turn the cooktop off using the Power ON/OFF.
Turn cooktop back on using the Power ON/OFF.
• Check the electric resistance TH3
(77˚F/25˚C)
• Change the main pcb
assembly.
• Clean the surface.
• Remove object from the touch pad.
• If any one of the keys is touched for more than
10 seconds continuously, this error will be
displayed.
• If water or a metal object is placed on the
touchpad this error will be displayed.
• Turn the cooktop off using the Power ON/OFF.
Turn cooktop back on using the Power ON/OFF.
• Turn the cooktop off using the Power ON/OFF.
Turn cooktop back on using the Power ON/OFF.
• Check the connection of CN2 on Interface PCB.
• This represents low voltage to the cooktop. Call
a licensed electrician.
