4. The power LED lights green and the red charging LED turns off when the
charging process is finished. Remove the battery and unplug the power
cord from the wall socket.

Inserting and Removing the Battery

1. Slide the battery into the recess at the bottom side of
the cordless drill and connect the terminals of the
battery and the cordless drill.
2. When inserting the battery, make sure it can be
easily placed. Do not use force.
Slide the battery as far as it will go until the locking
clips (7) audibly snap in.
3. For removing the battery, press both locking clips
simultaneously and slide the battery out of the
machine.

Turning ON and OFF

1. To turn the unit on, press the ON/OFF trigger (5). To turn off the cordless
drill, release the trigger.
2. The ON/OFF trigger is also used to control the rotation speed. The deeper
the trigger is pressed, the faster the unit runs.
3. By pressing the rotating direction button (4) the rotating direction can be
reversed. In the middle position the ON/OFF trigger is locked. Set the
switch in this position when laying down the machine to avoid an
accidental start-up.
4. The rotating direction button can only be pressed, while the ON/OFF
trigger is released.

Inserting the Drill or Screw Bits

Please note! Before changing drill bit and screw bit, set the rotating direction
button (4) into the middle position to avoid
unintentional start-up.
The cordless drill has a keyless quick drill chuck
(3). No key is required to lock the tool bit in place.
Make sure that the drill or screw bit is not jammed
when you insert the tool and tighten the chuck.
