Run-on Brake

When the ON/OFF trigger (5) is released, the chuck brakes to a stop, thus
preventing the run-on of the tool.
When driving in screws, wait until the screw is screwed in flush with the
material and then release the ON/OFF trigger. By doing so, the head of the
screw does not penetrate into the material.

Replacement Battery

A suitable replacement battery for the cordless drill can be ordered at
Westfalia:

Battery Disposal

1. Run motor until batteries are completely discharged.
2. Remove the battery from the cordless drill. Depress both battery locking
clips (7) simultaneously and pull out the battery pack from the cordless
drill.
3. Wrap heavy insulating tape around battery terminals or enclose in a
sealable plastic bag to prevent possible shorting.
4. Dispose of batteries through your local waste removal authority.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Remove the battery before undertaking any cleaning or maintenance
work.
Use only a moist cloth to clean the unit. Do not use aggressive chemicals
as benzene or thinner, which may dissolve plastic parts, or abrasives.
Always keep the ventilation slots clean and free from obstructions.
In the case of malfunctions of the cordless drill and the charger, please
have the units repaired by a professional or turn to our customer service.
