    Checklist For your family’s safety, please check the following: READ and UNDERSTAND the owner’s manual and safety instructions. DO NOT position or operate barbecue under overhang or unprotected construction, against a wall, near aluminum siding, windows or fencing. CHECK that the regulator is correctly centred to the LP tank valve. DO NOT cross thread this connection as it may result in a gas leak, fire or explosion.

    Installation Important information about LP gas & regulator connections What is liquid petroleum (LP) gas? Liquefied petroleum gas, also called LP gas, liquid propane or propane is non-toxic, odourless and colourless when produced. For your safety, LP gas has been given an odour (similar to rotten cabbage) so that it can be detected.

    Prevention Resolving ignition issues, quick check: Press the ignition button located on the right side of the control panel or the right shelf fascia (see image A). You should hear a continuous clicking sound when the button is pressed. If you hear no sound, 1) replace the battery (see image B), 2) check that all wires are firmly pushed in (see image C).
