Before you begin to install the CardScan software, do the following:

If upgrading from a previous version
Make sure you have the following:
Windows 98 or later
Pentium processor or later
64 MB of RAM
50 MB free hard disk space for a minimum installation and 110 MB for a
full installation
CD-ROM drive
USB port for scanner connection
Modem for autodialing (optional)
Windows-compatible network for multiple users
Mouse, or other pointing device, recommended
If running Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows XP, or later, log on as
Administrator or to an account with Administrator privileges.
Locate your software serial number in the CD-ROM package.
To use CardScan with Palm or Pocket PC devices, install the desktop
software for these devices before installing CardScan.
