A slow blinking blue online light on the Arris SURFboard SBG8300 indicates that the modem is acquiring a downstream connection. This suggests a potential downstream connection issue, which could be caused by problems with the internet service provider (ISP), signal strength, or cable connections. Checking cable connections, power cycling the modem, and contacting the ISP to verify signal levels may help resolve the issue.
