Interface Cards

When using the scanner with a USB connection, check to make sure the USB
2.0 interface card being used is a recommended type. Recommended USB 2.0
interface cards are listed below.

IMPORTANT
• Follow the instructions in your computer's and the USB 2.0 interface card's
manuals to install the USB 2.0 interface card into your computer.
• Make sure that the USB driver is an updated version provided by Adaptec
or Microsoft.
Note
• The DR-2580C has passed the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 certification test.
However, normal operations may not be possible on computers that are
equipped with the standard Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface card. In this case,
use the recommended USB 2.0 interface card.
• If the USB 2.0 interface is not compatible with Hi-Speed USB 2.0,
scanning speed is reduced.
