Check that the ink tanks are firmly seated in the print head and reseat them if
necessary.
• Check to see if all the orange tapes have been peeled off as shown in (1). If
there remains a part of the orange tape as shown in (2), remove it thoroughly.
If an ink tank is empty: See"Replacing an Ink Tank
Check that your paper is loaded with the print side facing up.
Note Follow the instructions packaged with your specialty media for
loading and handling.
On the Main Main tab, confirm that the Media Type

In the Print Print dialog box, confirm that the Media Type

Align the print head.

Print the nozzle check pattern to check for uneven ink output.
When a specific color is missing from the nozzle check pattern, clean the print
head.

Note The ink tank may be clogged with dust or air if the protective
cap is replaced after the removal.
Be sure to set the Print Quality Print Quality Print Quality setting to High Print Quality
