1.1 Precautions and general recommendations

To use the cooktop correctly, read these
instructions and keep them for future
reference.
Keep the packaging materials (plastic
bags, polystyrene foam, etc.) out of the
reach of children. Accident hazard.
Check whether the cooktop has not been
damaged during transport and remove
protective film from parts.
Install the cooktop in a well-ventilated
room according to local regulations.
Carefully read instructions before installing
and using your cooktop.
Gas and supply pressure adjustments are
indicated on the data plate/characteristics
located under the cooktop.
To use a different type of gas refer to
"Instructions to convert to different types
of gases".

room. Doing so may result in carbon
monoxide poisoning and overheating of
the cooktop. The manufacturer declines all
responsibility for inappropriate use or
incorrect setting of knobs.
This appliance must not be used by
people with reduced physical, sensorial or

lack knowledge or experience unless they
are supervised or instructed by the person
responsible for their safety.
Children must be watched not to play with
the appliance.
The use of a gas cooktop produces heat
and humidity in the room. Make sure the
room is well-ventilated, or install a hood.
Notes:
Improper use of grids can result in
damage to the surface of the cooktop.
Do not position the grids upside down
or slide them across the cooktop.
If the cooktop has a ceramic glass
surface, do not use:
- Cast iron griddles, terracotta pots and
pans.
- Heat diffusers (for example, metal mesh).
- Two burners simultaneously for one
receptacle.
When using the cooktop for long periods,
additional ventilation may be necessary
(open a window or increase hood power).
Warning:
If surface is scratched or broken, turn the
product off to prevent electric discharge.
