- Page 5 V1.0 PLASTIC WELDING KIT 8699134 Do not touch the butane soldering iron if it is venting gas. The gas can cause a frostbite injury if it contacts skin. Do not store or operate at temperatures above 50°C. 10. Let the plastic welder fully cool down before storing in the molded case.

- Page 7 V1.0 PLASTIC WELDING KIT 8699134 Rotate the gas flow control to the second position to heat the welding head. The catalyst block (D) will change from white to orange as it heats up. The heated air and gas are exhausted forward onto the workpiece.
- Page 8 8699134 PLASTIC WELDING KIT V1.0 Perform the following actions at the same time to add plastic to the damaged area: 5.1 Press down on the damaged area so the welding head is flat against the workpiece. Slowly draw the soldering iron across the crack.

This can weaken the area. Smooth the plastic on the opposite side first if it won’t be visible in the finished workpiece.
