Description
AS280 is a high performance certified internal sounder for
industrial / commercial applications and any situation where a
high performance internal sounder is required.
• Nominal siren output 116 (±2) dB(A) @ 1 metre.
•
Silent power up.
• Positive 'hold off' trigger command.
•
Selectable cut off timer, 15 or 30 min plus 5 second test
mode.
•
Battery protected against deep discharge.
•
Opening and removal from mounting tamper protection.
•
Tamper signalling via volt free contacts.
•
Auto reset fuse protection for battery circuit.

Environmental Class: II.
• Battery deep discharge protection – to prevent permanent
damage. The sounder stops functioning automatically
when the voltage falls under 9.5 Volts
•
Re-arming Sounder: After triggering the sounder can only
be re-triggered if +BL is taken to +12 V, before again
taking to 0 V. An NP2.1 or PS-1221 battery provides 3
operations of 30 minutes at a normal acoustic volume.
