Inserting / Changing the Batteries

Turn the unit off (Switch 1 to OFF) and remove the screw on the lower long
side.

Carefully remove the base plate from the housing and place 2
batteries LR06 (AA) 1.5 V in the battery holders. Please observe correct
polarity, the negative battery poles must be placed against the springs.

Reattach the base plate to the housing.
The batteries should be replaced if the indicator LEDs darken noticeably
during operation or remain dark altogether.
Operation

1. Pulse and Motor Test for Analogue Watches

Place the watch on the sensor 11. Turn on the unit with the switch (1). Set the
switch (2) to the pulse symbol (lower position). If motor and pulse generation
work correctly; the pulse indicator light (5) flashes every half second.
Additionally, there is an acoustic signal. It may be necessary to remove the
watch back and carefully align the watch on the sensor field until the magnetic
field of the motor is picked up. The signal strength depends on the size of the
motor. If the signal cannot be picked up altogether, proceed as follows:
Plug the included testing cable into the socket (13) and place the probes on
the soldered connections on the motor. If motor and pulse generation work
correctly; the pulse indicator light (5) flashes every half second. Additionally,
there is an acoustic signal.

2. Testing the Gear Train / Demagnetising

Place the watch on the sensor 12 and turn on the unit with the switch (1). Set
the switch (2) to "LR" (upper position). Now the hands of the watch should
