Installing the Software

You must follow the procedure given below to install the software.
1. Install the software from the EOS DIGITAL SOLUTION DISK
2. Install Photoshop 5.0 LE
Do not connect the camera to your computer before you have installed the
software as this will prevent successful software installation.
Installing the Software

Start up your computer.

Close any programs that are running before you begin installing the software.

Load the SOLUTION DISK into the CD-ROM drive.

The SOLUTION DISK icon appears on the desktop.

Start the installer.
● If you are using Mac OS 8.6 to 9.2, double-click the SOLUTION DISK icon s the
[Mac OS 8/9] folder s the [Canon EOS Digital Installer] icon to start.
● If you are using Mac OS X, double-click the SOLUTION DISK icon s the [Mac OS X]
folder s the [Canon EOS Digital Installer] icon to start.

The Installer panel appears.

Click [Digital Camera Software Installation].
