AUTO position:
This position makes it possible to select the operating setting for your radiator
remotely, using a programming device. The programming device may be:
3
- A pilot wire programming unit (TAX - TAL2):
A pilot wire programming unit sends an instruction via the black pilot wire to
which your radiator is connected. It switches your radiator to one of its settings (NO
HEAT, FROST PROTECTION, ECO, COMFORT) and can also switch your radiator to
two additional settings (COMFORT -1°C and COMFORT -2°C). See the instructions
with your pilot wire programmer for how to use your radiator with a pilot wire program-
mer.
2
- A PLC base unit (TAX) :
A PLC base unit sends an instruction via your radiator's electricity supply cables.
It switches your radiator to one of its settings (NO HEAT, FROST PROTECTION, ECO,
1
COMFORT) and can also switch your radiator to two additional settings (COMFORT
-1°C and COMFORT -2°C). Your PLC base unit must use the X2D protocol.
NOTE:
If your radiator operates with a pilot wire programming unit or a PLC base
unit, and this system transmits a FROST PROTECTION or NO HEAT
command, these two commands take priority over the position of the
setting selection button on your radiator.
CONFIGURATION position:
This setting allows you to link/unlink your appliance with a PLC base unit, so
you can use AUTO mode (see section 3.5).
