Error Message
SET 18mm! This message appears if an 18-mm-
wide tape cassette is not installed when
an Auto Format layout for an 18-mm-
wide tape is selected.
SET 12mm! This message appears if a 12-mm-wide
tape cassette is not installed when an
Auto Format layout for a 12-mm-wide
tape is selected.
SET 9mm! This message appears if a 9-mm-wide
tape cassette is not installed when an
Auto Format layout for a 9-mm-wide
tape is selected.
SET 6mm! This message appears if a 6-mm-wide
tape cassette is not installed when an
Auto Format layout for a 6-mm-wide
tape is selected.
TAB This message appears if 50 tabs have
LIMIT! already been added to the text when
you press Q.
TAPE This message appears if you try to print
a label or feed the tape when no tape
EMPTY!
cassette is installed.
TEXT TOO This message appears if the size of
HIGH! the text is larger than the width of the
installed tape when the Length func-
tion is used.
TEXT TOO This message appears if the length of
LONG! the text is longer than the label length
that has been set using the Length
function.
WRONG This message appears if a high-volt-
ADAPTER! age adapter is being used.
Cause Remedy
Install an 18-mm-wide tape cas-
sette.
Install a 12-mm-wide tape cas-
sette.
Install a 9-mm-wide tape cas-
sette.
Install a 6-mm-wide tape cas-
sette.
Limit the number of tabs in the
text to 50.
Install a tape cassette and try
again.
Reduce the size of the characters
or install a wider tape.
Delete some of the text, reduce
the character width or increase
the set label length.
Remove the high-voltage
adapter and connect the adapter
designed exclusively for this
machine.
