5. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

• I n a few cases, the Receiver may be disrupted by interference and cannot, therefore, pick
up the signals it receives. If this is the case the red light will be continuously illuminated
and the Receiver must be relocated. This interference is caused by equipment in the
vicinity such as dimmers, energy-saving light bulbs, IR alarms and so on. Direct sunlight
can also disrupt the Receiver.
• P owermid XL does not work with remote controls which use High Frequency signals (such
as B&O)
