4. If the burner does not light after 5 seconds, turn the control
knobs to the OFF position. Wait 45 seconds until the gas clear
before attempting to light it again.
5. If the burner does not light after several attempts see trou-
bleshooting guide on pages 30-31.
6. Upon successful lighting, repeat the process on any other
available burner you may wish to ligt.

Flame Height

The correct height of the flame depends on the size and mate-
rial of the utensil being used, the food being cooked and how
much liquid is in the utensil.

Here are some basic rules for selecting the flame height.

cooking with a large amount of liquid.
· When boiling, adjust the flame to the size of the cookware
until boiling begins. The lower flame height to the minimum
