The lifter is certified as a unit together with a specific tool. If the tool is changed, this must be checked with TAWI. If a tool is used that is not authorised by TAWI, a new final certification of the complete lifter must be implemented.

Mobile Order Picker Compact (MOP Compact) TAWI lifters or accessories must be carried out by TAWI authorised staff. If TAWI is no longer in business and there is no successor interested in carry on the business, the user may perform a modification/al- teration to a MOP Compact lifter.
Mobile Order Picker Compact. TAWI If a Mobile Order Picker Compact is used according to all instructions in this manual it will TAWI perform well for many years. TAWI offers a one-year limited guarantee, excluding transportation charges, provided that the lifter has been used under normal working conditions and in accordance with the instructions in this manual.
3 • OVERVIEW 3 Overview Mobile Order Picker Compact is a mobile lifter that provides lifting and transportation aid for loads TAWI up to 35 kg (80 lbs) by using vacuum. Mobile Order Picker Compact can be picked up and moved TAWI with any kind of forklift or fork truck.

3 • OVERVIEW Center of gravity The center of gravity of the unit is illustrated below. Pay attention to the center of gravity of the lifter, so the external fork system is not overloaded.

4 • QUICK START 2. Connect the unit power connector (d) to the Power pack connector (c) in order to restore main supply power for the unit and make it operational. 3. Remove the two top boards (e) and any protecting padding (f) from the pallet (g) on top of the forks.

4 • QUICK START Working area The grey area of the illustration below shows the permitted work area of the articulating arm. There is an option to retrofit a work area limiter that facilitates operations when the movement of the articulating arm can be restricted.

USER INSTRUCTIONS• 5 Move lifter To enable transportation of the lifter to desired work area, the lifter has been equipped with adaptable fork tunnels that enables adjustment to interface any fork system. Once it has reached desired work area the external fork system can either be removed from the lifter or, the lifter can be lowered into transport mode and be operated with the external fork system attached.
5 • USER INSTRUCTIONS • Make sure the articulating arm is attached to the safety lock before moving the lifter. • The suction head must be raised to the highest position and secured in locked position during transportation. • During any moving operation of the lifter, the pump must be switched off and the unit must be in transport mode.

5 • USER INSTRUCTIONS How to use the operating handle and suction head: On the operating handle (m) there are four bottons, which are also on the control panel, so that the lift can be manage in a more flexible way when beeing used. (b) - Pump switch button starts the pump.
• Maintenance instructions must be followed. • The service record must be accessible for inspection. • Use only original TAWI parts. • The jib arm includes a safety valve. The valve automatically closes if the power fails and the load sinks to the floor in a controlled manner.

USER INSTRUCTIONS• 5 Change battery pack To change the battery pack, follow the steps described on the following pages. Elevate the unit approximately 200mm. Extend the stabilisers (a) by pressing the park mode button (see page 19) on control panel. Remove the front covers (b) and store them somewhere safe, they will need to be reattached later in the process.

5 • USER INSTRUCTIONS Disconnect the main battery cable (d) from the power pack (e). Grab end of fork members by hand and wiggle the pack from side to side to pull the pack out appr. 100 mm. Raise the power pack slightly by using a fork lift or pallet jack.

USER INSTRUCTIONS• 5 Elevate the unit approximately 200 mm. Open the access hatch. Remove the power pack quick change support legs (h) from the unit and reattach them to the access hatch, make sure the power pack is secured to the unit and will not come lose.
5 • USER INSTRUCTIONS Clean suction foot filter The suction foot air filter should be cleaned regularly (once a week, more often if the environment requires). 1. Remove the suction foot. 2. Carefully clean the air filter using reduced compressed air. 3.
USER INSTRUCTIONS• 5 Change position of the jib arm The articulating arm can be fastened in three different positions to accommodate different operating environments. 1. Choose one of the three mounting positions depending on the operational requirements and on which side of the lifter the user is most likely to operate on, see Mounting position on page 12. 2.
5 • USER INSTRUCTIONS Change position of the outer arm The outer arm on Mobile Order Picker Compact can be installed in a position that allow 360 TAWI rotational degrees by reducing the lifting height capacity with approximately 350 mm.
The use of non-original spare parts invalidates the warranty and can cause risk of personal injury and damage to the unit. • If the battery needs to be replaced, either order a new battery pack from TAWI or make sure that an original battery is used. If assistance is needed, contact TAWI.
