Always use a locally approved
5V DC charger with an output
of at least 1.0A.
It is also possible to use a 12V DC
power source if the USB adapter
outputs a minimum 1.0A.
With the leak detector off and
the charger connected, the
screen will display charging
status as shown in Fig. 20. Char-
ge the leak detector until the
display shows 100%.
Charging time to full capacity is
approximately 3 hours.

Operating the leak
detector with the charger
connected
It is possible to operate the
leak detector with the charger
connected.
Connect the charger as descri-
bed in section 7.4.2 and turn
on the leak detector.
With the leak detector on and
the charger connected the dis-
play will indicate charging and
progress with the lightning bolt
symbol in the upper right corner
of the screen, see Fig. 21.
