This instrument displays two types of alarms: the head excess temperature alarm and measurement overflow
alarm. The instrument issues a warning message that appears on the display and remains up until the cause of the
alarm is being removed.
Overflow Alarm: This alarm appears when the signal detected by the instrument exceeds the instantaneous
maximum power the sensor head can bear or the manually selected measurement range has been overcome.
Temperature Alarm: This alarm is active for thermopile sensor heads and it appears when the sensor head
temperature exceeds its specified safety limit (typically 80°C).
