To charge an 85Ah starter battery using the ISDT K4 charger, you should use the Pb (lead-acid) battery settings. According to the manual:
- Battery Type: Pb - Cell Count: 1~14S (Select the appropriate number of cells for your battery) - Max Charging Voltage per Cell: 2.40V - Storage Voltage per Cell: 2.00V - Discharge Voltage per Cell: 1.90V - Max Charge Current: 20.0A
For an 85Ah battery, a recommended charge rate is typically 0.1C to 0.2C (8.5A to 17A). Set the charging current accordingly, ensuring it does not exceed the charger’s 20A limit.
