ENGINE OPERATION

Sudden acceleration and deceleration may
cause passenger(s) to be thrown overboard
or falling down.

Do not force to shift when the throttle grip
is not in the fully closed position, otherwise,
steering system and/or shifting mechanism
may be damaged.

5. Fully opened (Reverse)
6. Free throttle lever
7. Control lever
8. Neutral lock arm
Forward
1. Quickly push the control lever to the
Forward (F) position 32°, where the
gear is connected, while lifting up on
the lock button located under the
control lever grip.
2. Further forward motion will open the
throttle.

Reverse
1. Quickly pull the control lever to the
Reverse (R) position at 32°, where
the gear is connected, while lifting
up on the lock button located under
the control lever grip.
2. Further rearward motion will open
the throttle.

ually.

WARNING
Be careful not to remove engine stop switch
lanyard from engine accidentally while boat
is running. Sudden stop of engine can cause
loss of steering control. It can also cause
loss of boat speed, possibly leading the
crew(s) and or objects on the boat to be
thrown forward due to inertial force.
