22.1 O ve rvie w
This chapter provides information on the Remote Management screens.
Remote Management allows you to manage your NBG from a remote location through the following
interfaces:
• LAN and WAN
• LAN only
• WAN only
Note: The NBG is managed using the Web Configurator.
22.2 Wha t Yo u C a n Do
Use the

managed remotely and specify a secure client that can manage the NBG.
22.3 Wha t Yo u Ne e d to Kno w
Remote management over LAN or WAN will not work when:
The IP address in the

client IP address. If it does not match, the NBG will disconnect the session immediately.
There is already another remote management session. You may only have one remote management

session running at one time.
There is a firewall rule that blocks it.

When NAT is enabled:
• Use the NBG's WAN IP address when configuring from the WAN.
• Use the NBG's LAN IP address when configuring from the LAN.
