Pumped liquids
CAUTION:
This pump has been designed and tested for use with water only. Its suitability for use with liquids
other than water is the end user's responsibility.
WARNING:
In domestic hot water systems, the water is recommended to be pumped at a temperature
above 122 °F (50 °C) to prevent the risk of legionella.
NOTICE:
Keep the hot water temperature below 140 °F (60 °C). Higher temperatures can cause calcium
and magnesium elements to come out of solution and create solids which could not only cause
damage to the pump, but also reduce water heater efficiency and premature failure of the water
heater.
Hard Water Conditions
Use a water conditioner if you have hard water. Hard water can cause scale build-up and
eventually reduce the life of the pump and other system components.
OEM applications
