Headlight range
adjustment
In the case of high payload, if
the spring preload adjustment is
not sufficient anymore to avoid
blinding the oncoming traffic:
Turn adjustment wheel 1 coun-
terclockwise to lower the head-
light beam.
If the motorcycle is ridden again
with lower payload:
Have the headlight default set-
ting readjusted by an autho-
rized workshop, preferably an
authorized BMW Motorrad re-
tailer.

Accident hazard
Only adjust the windshield
when the motorcycle is
stationary.
Turn adjustment wheel 1
clockwise to lower the
windshield.
Turn adjustment wheel 1 coun-
terclockwise to raise the wind-
shield.

Only adjust the clutch lever
