SEDIMENT CUP CLEANING

: Gasoline is extremely flammable and is explosive
under certain conditions. Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks in
the area.
1. Turn the engine switch to the OFF position and fuel valve to the OFF
position. Open the left maintenance cover.
2. Remove the air cleaner cover and paper element.
3. Disconnect the breather tube from the air cleaner case. Remove the two
6 mm nuts and 6 mm bolt and remove the air cleaner case.
4. Remove the sediment cup and
O-ring.
5. Clean the sediment cup.
Reinstall O-ring and sediment
cup securely.
6. Install the air cleaner case in the
reverse order of removal, then
install the paper element and air
cleaner cover.

FUSE REPLACEMENT

Never use a fuse with a different rating.
1. Turn the engine switch to the OFF position.
2. Remove the four 6 mm cap nuts and front cover.
3. Remove the fuse holder cover and replace the fuse.
Specified fuse: 5 A
4. Reinstall the front cover in the reverse order of removal.
