B - MISE EN SERVICE

1. DEBALLAGE DE L'INSTALLATION

Les installations SAFMIG 400 BL sont livrées dans un emballage plastique
thermorétractable positionné sur un socle bois. Dégager la housse du socle et enlever
le générateur à l'aide d'un chariot élévateur.
ATTENTION : la stabilité de l'installation est assurée jusqu'à une
inclinaison de 10°.

2. RACCORDEMENT ELECTRIQUE AU RESEAU

($ voir dépliant FIGURE 6 à la fin de la notice)
Le générateur est livré équipé de son câble primaire.
Avant de raccorder le câble au réseau il est essentiel de :
! vérifier que le point de branchement n'est pas sous tension,
! modifier en conséquence le détrompeur D du commutateur
"Marche/Arrêt" 230 - 400 V,
! vérifier que le commutateur Marche Arrêt est sur la position O,
! relier le câble primaire 4 conducteurs à une prise triphasée + terre -
l'alimentation doit être protégée par un dispositif de protection (fusible
ou disjoncteur) de calibre correspondant aux consommations primaires
(voir p.9),
! relier le câble de masse sur la sortie self souhaitée (n-m) et la pince de
masse à la pièce à souder.

3. EQUIPEMENT DE L'INSTALLATION

La platine est équipée d'origine d'un guide fil d'entrée pour fil 0,6 à 1,6 mm et d'un

galet pour fil acier 1,0 et 1,2 mm
Equiper la platine en fonction de l'utilisation suivant le tableau pièce d'usure situé à
!
l'intérieur du capot mobile.
! Equiper la torche en fonction de l'utilisation suivant le tableau pièce d'usure situé à
l'intérieur du capot mobile ( $
! Mettre en place la bobine de fil et engager le fil au travers du guide fil d'entrée et
sortie platine et le laisser sortir d'environ 10 cm.
! Refermer les chapes mobiles.
! Connecter la torche au dévidoir.
! Penser à refermer le capot du compartiment.

SAFMIG 400 BL installations are delivered in heat-shrinkable plastic packing
positioned on a wooden base. Remove the cover from the base and lift off the
generator with a fork truck.
CAUTION : equipment stability is ensured up to an angle of 10°.

2. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS TO THE MAINS

( $ See fold-out FIGURE 6 at the end of the manual)
The power source is delivered already equipped with its primary cable.
Before connecting the cable to the mains, it is essential to :
! check that the connection point is not energised,
! change as appropriate the polarizer D of the 230 - 400 V on/off switch,
! check that the on/off switch is set to the O position,
! connect the 4 conductor primary cable to a three phase with earth plug.
The power supply should be protected by a system of protection (fuse
or circuit breaker) corresponding to primary consumption (see p. 9),
! connect the earth cable to the desired coil outputs (n-m) and the earth
clamp to the piece to be welded.

The plate is equipped as standard with a wire feed guide for 0,6 to 1,6 mm wires
!
and a roller for steel wire 1.0 and 1.2 mm :
Equip the plate according the intended use in keeping with the wear part table
!
on the inside of the inner door.
! Equip the torch as a function of application as indicated in the wearing parts
table to be found inside the removable hood (
torch).
! Put the wire through the plate inlet and outlet wire guide and leave about 10 cm
of wire protruding outside.
! Close the movable flanges.
! Connect the torch to the wire feed unit.
! Remember to close the wire feed compartment cover.
