• Received Calls List; tells you the number of calls received, those that have been answered and those awaiting reply, etc. As you use your Berkshire MR42 telephone, the display panel will provide you with instructions. These instructions are described, as and when they occur, in the following sections of this manual.

INFORMATION FROM RECEIVED CALLS LIST ENTRIES For each entry in the Received Calls List, your Berkshire MR42 telephone will tell you the number of calls that each caller has made to you, plus the time and date of the last call.

DIALLING FROM A RECEIVED CALLS LIST ENTRY When a name, number, repeated call or time/date display is shown from the Received Calls List, you can dial the number of the caller directly from it: • Press DIAL, the display will show either the name (if available) or the directory number, and you will hear the progress of the call.
Receiving calls ANSWERING CALLS All incoming calls to your Berkshire MR42 telephone are announced by the tone ringer sounding, and the display will show: either a hotel Service name, eg RECEPTION or the directory name of the incoming caller, eg ACME TRADING...
