How to work the appliance:
-
Turn the knob (1) of the power regulator.
-
At the same time the lamp (2) will light signalizing that the appliance is ON.
-
According to the knob position, the heating element carries out a cycle of turn-on and turn-off,
in order to keep the radiating temperature even. The larger the area to be seen on the knob, the
longer the turn-on time if compared to the turn-off time. Between the limit of the maximum
area and the indicator the plate always works at the maximum power available.

To switch off the appliance turn the knob (1) to position 0.

The heating element is provided with an automatically rearmed safety thermostat, which is
activated at a preset temperature, so to avoid the temperature to increase dangerously and out of
control.
ATTENTION! Use the appliance only under observation. Never let the appliance be heated if
it is empty.
During the appliance normal functioning the area where the heating element (3) is placed can
reach high temperatures; this area is marked with a sticker attached on the radiating head.
During the appliance normal functioning do not touch the radiating head.
Abnormal functioning
If for any reason, the appliance does not start or stops working during use, check that the energy
supply and the control knobs are set correctly; if all is regular, call customer service.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE APPLIANCE

Cleaning
ATTENTION! Before doing any cleaning, make sure that the appliance is disconnected from
the electric mains. During cleaning operations, avoid using direct or high pressure sprays of
water on the appliance. Cleaning has to be done when the appliance is cold.
Steel parts can be cleaned with warm water and neutral detergent and using a cloth; the detergent
has to be suitable for cleaning stainless steel and must not contain abrasive or corrosive substances.
Do not use common steel wool or anything similar that, depositing iron particles, could cause rust.
It is also advisable to avoid using sandpaper or emery paper. Only in the event of encrusted dirt,
pumice stone in powder may be used; anyway, an abrasive synthetic sponge or stainless steel wool
would be preferable to be used in the direction of the grain. After washing, dry the appliance with a
soft cloth.
If the appliance is out of use for a long time, it is advisable to disconnect the main electricity
supply, wipe all stainless steel surfaces with a cloth soaked in Vaseline oil so to provide it with a
protective film, and air the rooms now and again.
