2) Positioning the mechanical
assembly
Arrange the assembly at the pool taking care to
position it as follows:
Longitudinal position: the axle should be level with
the nose of copings along the pool width
Lateral positioning: the inner surface of each stand
should be vertically aligned with the interior pool
walls.
Check that the axle is perpendicular to the two pool
lengths: measure the diagonals joining each end
of the axle to the opposite corner of the pool, and
make sure that they are equal.
If necessary, correct the positions of the stands
slightly to ensure that the diagonals are equal in
length.
Check that the stands are perpendicular to the axle
to prevent any unnecessary stress loading of parts.
D
Loosen and tighten the 3 height adjustable feet
to fine tune the position of the stands. Use a spirit
level to check that the assembly is level (axle side
and coping side).
3) Fixing the stand in position
Each stand is fastened to the coping with 2 studs.
Once each stand's ideal position has been
determined, mark the sites where the studs will be
inserted through the two holes circled in green and,
using a 10 mm dill bit, make two holes.
Clean the holes, then force an express studs M10
x125 (nut facing upwards) into each hole using a
hammer, taking care to protect the threading on the
stud with its nut. Fasten the stands to the deck by
tightening the nuts.
