HOW TO USE THE SAFETY HARNESS

This stroller has a five-point safety harness featuring two
shoulder straps, two adjustment holes, a waist strap and a

(fig. 12). After laying the child in the stroller, fasten the

straps (Fig. 12) by passing first the two forks (A) inside

the shoulder strap buckle (B) and then inside the crotch
strap buckle (C); Adjust the height of the shoulder straps
so that they adhere to your child's shoulders. Make sure
that the harness straps are fitted correctly. To unfasten

the waist strap, press and pull the side prongs.

WARNING: Children must wear all the time the safety har-
ness. To ensure your child's safety, it is necessary to always

use the safety harness.
WARNING: after removing the waist strap (e.g., for wash-
ing), make sure to reassemble it correctly by threading it
through the 2 rings D. The harness must be re- adjusted. To
make sure that the belts are fastened properly to the an-
w-
choring points, after placing your child inside the stroller,
pull the end parts of the belts firmly.
HOW TO ADJUST THE BACKREST
The backrest can be adjusted to 4 positions.
13. To recline the backrest, lift the adjuster handle on the
back of the backrest (fig. 13) and pull it down.
14. To raise the backrest, simply lift it to the desired position,

REAR BRAKES

The rear wheels have linked brakes, which can be applied
simultaneously on both rear wheels by using one pedal

15. To apply the brakes, press one of the two pedals on the
sides of the rear wheels down, as shown in figure 15.

17. To make the front wheels swivel, lift the lever fitted

between the two wheels. Use the swivel wheels on
smooth surfaces. To use the wheels in fixed mode, press
the lever downwards again (fig. 17).
WARNING: the swivel wheels make the stroller easier to di-
rect; it is recommended to use the wheels in fixed mode
on uneven ground to guarantee better stability (on gravel,
unpaved roads, etc.)
WARNING: Both wheels must always be locked or unlocked
at the same time.

SUN CANOPY

18. To fit the canopy, fasten the plastic clip to the frame's
tube and the velcro strips in the appropriate positions,
as shown in figure 18.
WARNING: The canopy must be fixed on both sides of the
stroller. Ensure that the hood is correctly secured into posi-
tion.
To remove the canopy from the frame, detach the velcro
strips and the plastic clips.
19. To open the canopy, push the front arch forward as
shown in figure 19. To close it, repeat the steps in re-
verse order.
20. The canopy has a transparent window to ensure bet-
ter visual contact and control of your child. The window
can be closed or opened using the relevant fabric flap
as shown in figure 20.
ADJUSTABLE LEGREST
The legrest can be adjusted in 2 positions.
21. To lower the legrest, hold the legrest bar and pull it out,
then turn it down (fig. 21). To raise the legrest up from the
down position, just pull it up.
FOLDING THE STROLLER
WARNING: When opening the stroller, make sure that your
child or other children are at a safety distance. Make sure
that during these operations the moving parts of the stroll-
er will not come into contact with your child before closing
the stroller, make sure that the storage basket is empty and
the canopy is closed.
The stroller has a closing device that can be used with one
hand.
22. To close the stroller, push switch A to the left and press
button B at the same, as shown in figure 22. Push the
handle forward to fold the structure (fig. 22A). The
stroller will lock automatically in closed position. When
closed, the stroller stands on its own. To close the stroller
in a compact manner (fig. 22B), the handle can be fold-
ed into closed position as described in item 8.
USING THE KEYFIT CAR SEAT ON THE STROLLER
The Keyfit car seat can be attached on Simplicity stroller.
WARNING: Before using the stroller in combination with the
car seat, always check that the hook-on system is correctly
locked in place.
When fastened to the stroller, the Keyfit car seat can be
used for children from birth up to 13 kg in weight or until
they are able to sit independently.
With the stroller open, fold the sun canopy and recline the
backrest completely.
WARNING: To use it with the child car seat, the bumper bar
must not be removed.
